Belmont Rose granite is known nationally and internationally due to past production, manufacturing and sales by Vermont Marble from 1965 to 1972 and by Rock of Ages from 1981 to 1983. Historically, the vast majority of Belmont Rose granite was processed and sold by Barre, Vermont USA manufacturers, but also has been used as an exterior cladding (panels) for five U.S.A. buildings and for one in Canada. The Barre Group is marketing the finished Belmont Rose monuments as "a high quality pink granite from Canada with an excellent sandblast contrast and a lower water absorption rate than some other pinks costing the same or even more."

Since 1993, the company has been resurrected into the monumental, crypt and mausoleum markets in the US and Canada. Belmont is offering an inexpensive, high-quality alternative in the warm, true pink rose colour granite classification that is affordable.

During June and July of 1993 Belmont Rose's Director of Marketing and Sales contacted most of the manufacturers and processors of granite in North America and re-introduced the Belmont Rose granite with successful results.

Four major North American monumental manufacturers (Granite Industries of Vermont Inc., Houle-Giudici Granite Co., Rock of Ages Corporation and Rock of Ages Canada, Ltd. (The Barre Group) have pre-purchased a substantial portion of the next three years Belmont Rose granite monumental production. Each of the above monumental manufacturers has its own extensive distribution network. The re-introduction and sales of the finished Belmont Rose granite monuments throughout the last half of 1994 was exceptionally well received by their wholesalers, retailers and dealers.

The Barre Group anticipates receiving, processing and distributing all of the monumental production "as extracted" from the Belmont Rose quarry.

There are two other manufacturers waiting to join The Barre Group to distribute any excess Belmont Rose dimensional stone through their own distribution networks.

The major benefit to Belmont Rose of being affiliated with The Barre Group is the minimal marketing and sales costs for the Belmont Rose monumental quality dimensional blocks.

Orders for Belmont Rose monumental stone from The Barre Group should increase yearly and continue for decades.

Belmont Rose re-entered the construction market, at the manufacturers and end users level, offering a high end monumental quality product as a cost savings alternative.

Since September 1993, Belmont Rose granite has been re-introduced into the USA and Canadian markets directly by Belmont Rose's Marketing and Sales force and by major architectural granite manufacturers (for use in slabs, panels, thin tiles and furniture) through their extensive distribution networks. These manufacturers include Atelier Grani-Marble Inc., Dakota Granite, Granit Bussiere Inc., Granidecor Tiles Inc., Granitslab International Inc., and Terrazzo, Mosaic & Tile Company Limited.

Belmont Rose Granite Corporation is re-introducing the Belmont Rose granite internationally in Europe, the Pacific Rim, and South East Asia. A major international granite quarrier and manufacturer, that has a global distribution network in place, has extended an offer to represent Belmont Rose as their "international marketing and sales agent" for the construction of dimensional stone. A second international stone quarrier and manufacturer, with a global distribution network, has extended an offer to market Belmont Rose in the Pacific Rim and South East Asia.
